Summer House’s West Wilson gets well wishes after biking accident

Summer House Season 8 newcomer West Wilson revealed he was hit by a car while riding his bike, receiving an outpouring of sympathetic messages from his followers.

West Wilson is a new cast member on Summer House Season 8, and he’s already a fan-favorite on the show.

The sports journalist was brought into the house by Lindsay Hubbard, and is one of two new male housemates, along with Jesse Solomon.

In the first episode, West formed an instant connection with Ciara Miller in the house, and she even helped him cook.

The other housemates love having him around this season because of his sense of humor and lighthearted personality.

West calls being hit by a car a “fun experience”

In a TikTok video, West shared that he was hit by a car while biking on his way to the dentist in New York City. He poked fun at the incident by writing, “Prioritize dental health” in the caption.

“Everyone has New York firsts, you know. And I scratched one off the bucket list today. I was hit by a car while biking. I was going through like a green in the bike lane and this dude like, just turned left,” he explained.

“I like, braked hard and let my hips and torso eat the hood of his car. But I had to get to the dentist by noon, so I popped up. I was like, ‘Your hood’s cool. I’m cool.’ The poor guy was about to start crying.”

West added, “So f*cking whatever. But I think I’m gonna feel it in my hip tomorrow. But, I mean, fun experience I suppose. We’re all good.”

In the comments of the post, Summer House fans and cast members sent their well wishes to West.

“Congrats!” West’s co-star Amanda Batula wrote. “West on the FYP! Stay safe out there!” another fan chimed in.

“Hit by a citi bike while running… felt it the next day,” a different fan commented.

West is still adjusting to his time in the Summer House and living in New York City, and hopefully he won’t get into any more accidents.
