A woman was shocked when a man walked up to her at the gym and said that her workout was an ‘inconvenience’ to him.

When TikToker LeeseW of Queensland, Australia was working out at her local gym, a man approached her and nabbed her workout routine.

Saying that her lack of weight on her machine was an ‘inconvenience’ to him, LeeseW was left shocked at his audacity.

Fortunately, though, another gym-goer walked up to LeeseW and stood up for her. She then took to TikTok to share her story.

Viewers say they’d spend extra time on workout machine to spite the guy

Captioning her viral TikTok video, “Pretty sure gyms are for everyone,” LeeseW explained that she was stunned after someone walked up to her and said, “I don’t appreciate being inconvenienced by people who aren’t lifting serious weights.”

Prior to the comment, LeeseW said that the man had asked her how much longer she’d be using the workout machine, to which she answered, “I’ve got two more sets of 10.”

Apparently, her timeframe and lack of weight attached to her machine weren’t good enough for the affected gym-goer, as that’s when they proceeded to speak down to LeeseW.

However, LeeseW also expressed that someone else jumped into the situation and told the guy, “Don’t you ever speak to someone in the gym like that again.”

Viewers of LeeseW’s viral TikTok commented, joking about using that same machine for an extra set of 10 reps to spite the man.

Another commented, “Gym isn’t just for strength, cardio, core, etc… It’s also for mental stability — peace of mind. Whether you are lifting heavy or light, young or old — everyone belongs in a space at the gym .”

Many others also applauded the bystander for sticking up for LeeseW, to which she responded by saying he was “soooo lovely.”
