It has been confirmed that Brad Pitt has been cast to star in Quentin Tarantino’s final film, The Movie Critic.

Quentin Tarantino has managed to make himself one of Hollywood’s biggest auteurs by focusing on only creating 10 movies. This line-up has certainly made an impact, to the point that there’s a lot of hype surrounding his 10th and final film.

The project, which will be titled The Movie Critic, has been the topic of discussion for a while, with new details coming out every so often, including its filming locations and potential lead.

Paul Schrader, who wrote Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver, has now revealed new information about Tarantino’s final movie – as it’s said to be inspired primarily by the 1976 classic.

However, as reported by Deadline, we can now confirm that actor Brad Pitt will star in the film.

This marks the third time that Pitt has starred in one of Tarantino’s movies. His first being Inglorious Bastards and then most recently in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. A role that earned Pitt an Academy Award for best supporting actor.

Given that this is Tarantino’s last film, there is a good chance that many of the A-list actors he has worked with in the past will appear once again.

After all, he is known for reusing actors, with the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio, Samuel L. Jackson, and more all appearing in multiple Tarantino works throughout the course of their careers.

The 10th movie from the Oscar-winning director already has a number of details circulating about it, such as its 1970s setting, its plot revolving around a pornographic movie reviewer, and how it was meant to start production in 2023 before the recent SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes halted any progress.
