Jujutsu Kaisen’s upcoming Chapter 240 will have a color spread revealing Yuji’s new power before the story does. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Jujutsu Kaisen manga was supposed to give the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, the well-deserved limelight in the battle against the strongest. In Chapter 238, as Hajime Kashimo dies, Yuji and Hiromi jump onto the battlefield while being mocked by Sukuna.

Fans were obviously hyped for the fight, as Yuji had been sidelined for far too long. His powers have also been kept a secret after Sukuna took over Megumi’d body. However, just as the manga is about to begin the fight, it shifts its focus to Kenjaku.

While the fight against Sukuna is going on, Kenjaku isn’t staying idle either. He is eliminating the Culling Game players and will then turn to merge Master Tengen with the Japanese population. As such, fans lose their chance to see Yuji’s new power. Thankfully, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 will have a color spread revealing the protagonist’s new power.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 238 ends with Yuji entering the battlefield while biting his arm. We briefly see long nails – similar to Sukuna’s fingers. That means his powers mostly depend on his arm. The upcoming chapter’s color spread features the four strongest Gojo students: Yuta, Hakari, Maki, and Yuji.

The color spread features Yuji’s arm, which has yet to be revealed in the manga. It resembles Sukuna in a way but is also somewhat different. The fin-like part protruding from his arm is something Sukuna doesn’t have. Furthermore, it’s slightly larger than his normal arm.

Yuji is someone with extraordinary physical strength, regardless of whether he has cursed energy or not. Therefore, even without being Sukuna’s vessel, he was always going to be strong. As the color spread indicates, he is among the four strongest students that Gojo nurtured. Furthermore, Yuji’s birth is more or less a mystery, even though we know Kenjaku possessed his mother’s body.

Gojo stated that Yuji’s body will one day adapt to Sukuna’s techniques – though we have yet to see any of that. The manga has yet to reveal the true extent of Yuji’s powers, but at least we now know what it will look like. The color spread proves that most of Yuji’s powers will depend on his arm.
