That date is the answer to the puzzle, but it doesn’t tell you how exactly you put that number in.

So, to solve the Vault puzzle, follow these steps:

1. Place one character on the top left plate.
2. Then place the next character on the top right plate.
3. Once this is done, put another character right in the middle plate.
4. Lastly, put the last character next to them on the mid-right pressure plate.
