Tommy Fury has called out Conor McGregor to be his next opponent in the boxing ring as he made reference to Jake Paul’s upcoming fight with Mike Tyson.

Fury, 24, is eyeing up a return to boxing after his majority decision win over YouTuber KSI last October.

Lending his support to brother Roman, who won his bout against Martin Svarc on the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou undercard, Fury took the opportunity to call out the Irishman.

Tommy Fury wants Conor McGregor fight

“I’m looking to get this [hand injury] out the way, nice and recovered,” Fury told DAZN Boxing.

“I’ve seen that Jake Paul is fighting Mike Tyson, I mean why not me and [Conor] McGregor next? I’ve got a comeback fight and I’d like him for my return so McGregor, get in touch.”

Fury picked up a hand injury during his win over KSI but it is clearly not stopping him from looking ahead to his next opponent.

And it seems as if the blockbuster announcement of Jake Paul’s fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson – to be shown live on Netflix – has played a part in his desire to call out McGregor.

Paul will go toe-to-toe with Tyson on July 20 in Dallas as the former YouTuber turned boxer looks to take on one of the all-time greats of the sport.

Most Valuable Promotions’ co-founder Nakisa Bidarian believes the bout will be the “most watched event in modern boxing history”, while Paul has described the bout as a “fight of a lifetime”.
