Every so often, Destiny 2 servers go down in order to perform scheduled maintenance or implement updates into the game. Here’s everything you need to know to know about the Destiny 2 server status upon the release of The Final Shape.

Destiny 2 is a live-service game, with three-month seasons that contain new story elements and activities. Now that we’ve finally reached The Final Shape, players from all over are looking to hop in and witness the end.

With the sheer amount of players logging in it appears that the Destiny 2 servers are being put through the paces, with many players being stuck in queue for hours, just waiting to get a chance to play the game.

Lucky for you, we’ve simplified the process of finding out the Destiny 2 server status as well as when, why, and for how long the game will be offline.

Destiny 2 Server Status

Servers are currently online for The Final Shape

The Destiny 2 servers are currently up, however many players are facing error codes such as Cabbage, Weasel, and Currant. It’s expected that there are queues to hop into the game, and while you’re queueing you may get slammed with one of these codes, dropping you out.

Bungie has launched background maintenance in the meanwhile to hopefully fix some of these issues, but with players from all over keen to hop in, it’s uncertain when servers will become stable once more.

You should expect some server queues ahead, so be patient!

Dexerto will continue to update this page in the event of extended server issues or downtime.
