Fans demand refunds for ‘unwatchable’ Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau wedding stream

Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau finally tied the knot on July 28 after short whirlwind romance and fans who paid to watch the couple’s wedding livestream are not happy, claiming that it was unwatchable.

While Jake and Tana’s matrimony might have made headlines for the fist fight that broke out during the event, fans who dropped a whopping $50 on a livestream pass to watch the event on Halogen are not happy with the service they received.

Angry tweets surfaced in droves, as hundreds of disappointed viewers took to Twitter to express their outrage at the lack of quality for the price paid.

“I want a refund!”

Multiple pass purchasers reported that Halogen’s livestream chugged along like a steam train, rather than providing the exceptional quality you’d expect from a ticket with such a high price point.

Entire sections of the wedding were also left without audio, so viewers couldn’t even hear what was going on at the event when the video lacked.

“This is legit what we paid for. Most of it has no fkn sound and we’ve been watching people stand around.” user ‘colson_kyla’ tweeted. “Occasionally some clueless chick interviews people, while mispronouncing tana’s name. That is when we can actually here her. @me when you figure out how to get a refund.”

Alongside their tweet were several screenshots of other viewers complaining about the audio cut-outs and demanding refunds.

Self-proclaimed beauty insider ‘Beautea With Ashlee’ posted a video to Twitter where she highlighted the issues with Halogen’s stream in more detail.

“Regardless of whether or not the wedding was fake, Halogen SHOULD be issuing refunds to the paying viewers of last night’s livestream disaster. The entire ceremony portion of the livestream was completely unwatchable due to severe lagging and quality control issues as far as” the caption said.

People even tweeted Halogen itself

Viewers even directed their angry tweets at the streaming platform itself, where they demanded to have their money refunded.

“refund refund refund refund refund refund refund refund refund refund refund,” user ‘KendallGothard’ replied to a Halogen tweet that was welcoming a previous buyer to its service.

“What happen? The wedding didn’t go well, I wasn’t going to purchase it.” another user replied upon seeing the repetitive rant.

“THE STREAM WAS SO SHITTY AND PPL WAITED HOURS TO SEE A GLITCHY FROZEN NO AUDIO “WEDDING” WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY – I KNEW IT WAS FAKE BUT TO CHARGE FOR A STREAM THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE- DISGUSTING! IM GETTING MY REFUND FROM MY BANK FUCK HALOGENTV, JAKE PAUL AND TANA.” the disgruntled customer replied.

More than 66,000 people paid to watch the YouTube couple tie the knot, so that’s a lot of potential refunds in the works.
