Woman rides horse through drive-thru

A total ‘Karen’ was told she could no longer ride her horses through a drive-thru, which prompted her to ask for the manager.

In a viral clip, a woman from High River, Alberta was banned from riding her horses in the town’s local drive-thru.

In the clip, the Tim Hortons worker can be heard asking her to stop riding her horses through the drive-thru purposes, in case they make a ‘mess’ on the floor. “You don’t want us to utilize our recognized mode of transport?” the woman answers.

“Are you the manager?” she asks him repeatedly, clearly angry. “Are you making that call for the corporation?”

In a Facebook post, she shared her ordeal, writing:  “WHAT A SHAME To many residents of High River complaining to bylaw/peace off(ic)ers has made us no longer allowed to ride in town. It puts a damper on our training for my rescue/rehabilitation horses. SHAME ON HIGH RIVER.”

People weigh in on drive-thru Karen

After the post was shared on a Reddit thread mocking her ‘freak out’, people were eager to share their thoughts on the horse-loving Karen.

“Ma’am please get off your high horse,” one said jokingly.

“He should have asked: ‘Will you pick up your horse’s s**t, if your horse s**ts on our private property?’” another added.

“This is an example of how stupid rules/regulations come to be. The lowest common idiot – the riders here – insist on trying to do something common sense should mitigate against doing: riding through a drive-thru,” another stated.
