Fortnite: Part 3 of the Fortnitemares challenges revealed
The Halloween event in Fortnite Battle Royale, Fortnitemares, continues to evolve, with the third set of event specific challenges now available.
These challenges task players with specific spooky tasks to take care of in game, with special rewards given for completing them all.
Released alongside the v6.20 update for Fortnite on October 24, Fortnitemares is now well underway, complete with Cube Monsters roaming the map.
If you missed the first or second sets of challenges you can still catch up with them here, focusing on dealing damage and destroying cube fiends, destroying decorations and finding gargoyles, among other scary tasks.
The third set of challenges follow on in a similar style, now having to take out Cube Brutes (the bigger of the two types), deal explosive damage to the monsters and search chests in corrupted areas.
Finally, you will simply need to visit Wailing Woods on the map five times, but this is a staged challenge, and this is only stage 1 of 3.
Completing all four challenges will earn you the Virulent Flames contrail, and advance your overall progress in the Fortnitemares challenges.
