The Business Turret has returned to Fortnite in Chapter 5 Season 1 following a further mid-season update. Here’s exactly how to get and where to find the unvaulted weapon in the game.

Fortnite’s Chapter 5 has been well underway with its first season. It has seen various hotfixes and updates follow since it launched its “whole new beginning” with The Big Bang event.

The biggest yet has been the V28.10 update, which has shaken up the game with a major Metal Gear Solid collaboration. It brought Solid Snake to the game with various MGS skins and cosmetics, quests, his own NPC and even two Mythic items.

Now, just days later in a further update, the Business Turret has been unvaulted. The automated-turret weapon was first introduced in Chapter 4 Season 4 as part of the Heists theme and has shocked fans with its fast return.

Where to find the Business Turret in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

The Business Turret can easily be found as floor loot or in containers such as chests around the Fortnite map.

Despite the Business Turret previously being able to be purchased from the NPC Antonia in Chapter 4, you are only able to find the weapon using the normal loot pools in Chapter 5 Season 1.

How to use the Business Turret in Fortnite

Unlike other weapons, the Business Turret doesn’t require players to manually use it to aim and fire at enemies themselves. Instead, you choose where you want to throw the Turret on the ground, and once placed, it will simply automatically target your opponents and begin firing at them to deal damage.

By getting the right positioning with your Turret, whether you are camping, trying to heal and want protection, or just want to have another line of firepower while you attack, it can prove very effective if used in the right way.

Although the weapon watches your back, it will only be active for a short amount of time and can be destroyed after a certain amount of damage from your enemies. Moreover, if you get too far from a placed Business Turret, it will initiate a self-destruct countdown of five seconds.
