How to get access to the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha

There were a couple of ways to gain access to the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha test.

Initially, codes were sent out to select fans who signed up on the official website.

Fans were asked a few quick questions regarding region, experience with other similar PVP titles on the market, and hardware. However, simply filling out the form did not guarantee access to the Closed Alpha.

The devs also revealed those playing the Closed Alpha will have the chance to obtain additional codes to share with friends. Those involved were also able to get an invite code from watching Marvel Rivals livestreams.

It’s worth knowing that devs confirmed that progress in the Closed Alpha will not be carried over. The FAQ states that account data will be “wiped” once the test period ends. However, there are certain in-game rewards that fans permanently get to keep if they managed to unlock them during the Closed Alpha.

The Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha began on May 10th at 5:00 PM (PDT) and ran until May 20th at 11:59 PM (PDT).

Moving forward, there’s set to be a Closed Beta for Marvel Rivals ahead of the game’s official launch later this year.
