Twilight Fragments are a brand new item in Persona 3 Reload and here’s everything you need to know about them, including what they are and what they do in the remake.

The highly anticipated Persona 3 Reload has arrived and this ground-up remake has added a handful of new mechanics and content for fans of the beloved JRPG franchise to enjoy, including various changes throughout Tartarus.

One of the new items Atlus has added to Persona 3 Reload is Twilight Fragments, and these come in particularly handy when you’re exploring the mysterious tower. If you’re wondering exactly how they work in the game, we’ve got all the information you need right here.

What are Twilight Fragments in Persona 3 Reload?

Twilight Fragments are a resource that can be used to open locked chests in Persona 3 Reload. Whenever you come across one of these chests as you’re exploring the dungeon, you’ll be able to exchange Twilight Fragments to unlock it and collect the items inside. The amount of Fragments you’ll need depends on the individual chest so make sure to keep hold of any you find in the game.

As well as opening chests, 7 Twilight Fragments can be used to activate the Clock at the entrance to Tartarus which will then completely recover your party’s HP and SP. If you need to teleport back to the entrance before fighting a particularly tough shadow, making use of the clock could be a good tactic for players who want to jump straight back into the action.

How to get Twilight Fragments

There are several ways to get Twilight Fragments in the game. You can find them within Tartarus by destroying specific breakable objectives. You may also come across them outside of the tower when you’re exploring the overworld during your free time outside of school.

Finally, if you raise your Social Stats and Social Links and then visit the Velvet Room, Elizabeth will occasionally give you the resource as a reward, so it’s worth heading to the Velvet Room regularly even if you don’t have any new Personas to fuse at the time.
