The Pokemon Go Battle League Season 19: Shared Skies has arrived with a new weekly schedule of leagues and cups, as well as some great rewards and themed Battle Days to enjoy.
While catching ’em all is the name of the game in Pokemon Go, Trainers looking to test their might against others will want to head to the competitive Go Battle League, which is now entering its 19th season, dubbed Shared Skies.
Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about Season 19 of the Pokemon Go Battle League, including the end date, all the rewards you can earn along the way, and the new weekly schedule of leagues and cups.

Pokemon Go Battle League Season 19 start & end dates
Season 19 of the Go Battle League starts on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −8) and ends on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
At the beginning of Season 19, you’ll be able to claim your end-of-season rewards from the battle screen and your Go Battle League rank will be reset.

In addition to the traditional trio of Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues, there will be many special cups this season, like the Summer Cup.

Go Battle League Season 19 events schedule
There will be one special event taking place during Season 19 of the Go Battle League:

Go Battle Weekend: Shared Skies | Friday, August 16, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time |
During the Go Battle Weekend: Shared Skies event, the maximum number of sets you can play per day will be raised from 5 to 20 for a total of 100 battles. You’ll also be able to claim 4× Stardust from win rewards, excluding end-of-set rewards.
During this Battle Weekend, free Timed Research will be available, and rewards will include a wig inspired by Lana. Additionally, GO Battle League Pokemon encounter rewards will display a wider variety of Attack, Defense, and HP.
Attack changes in Season 19 of the Pokemon Go Battle League
The following attacks will receive buffs or nerfs during this season:
Attack | Changes |
Scald | Chance to lower the opposing Pokémon’s Attack is decreased |
Spark | Power decreased from 6 to 5 in Trainer Battles |
Seed Bomb | Power increased from 60 to 65 in Trainer Battles |
Swift | Power decreased from 60 to 55 and Energy Cost decreased in Trainer Battles |
Attack availability updates in Season 19 of the Pokemon Go Battle League
There are quite a few changes to attack availability this season, with the following Pokemon now able to learn new moves:
Thunder Punch (Electric-type Charged Attack)
Can now be learned by Typhlosion, Lucario, Riolu, Scraggy, Scrafty, Chestnaught, Pawmo, and Pawmot.
Counter (Fighting-type Fast Attack)
Can now be learned by Lokix.
Powder Snow (Ice-type Fast Attack)
Can now be learned by Cetoddle and Ceitan.
Dragon Claw (Dragon-type Charged Attack)
Can now be learned by Naganadel.
Swift (Normal-type Charged Attack)
Can now be learned by Cleffa, Clefairy, Clefable, Igglybuff, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Teddiursa, Ursaring, and Ursaluna.
Fly (Flying-type Charged Attack)
Can now be learned by Fearow, Salamence, Woobat, and Swanna.
