Pokemon Go players disappointed by egg hauls that are still “trash” after 8 years

Hatching eggs in Pokemon Go can be a great way to find new and interesting Pokemon, but as one unlucky player found out recently, it can also lead to some disappointing results.

Picking up an egg in Pokemon Go can be a lot of fun. Finding one means you could end up hatching an exciting new creature or even finding a rare variant, like a Shiny.

Pokemon Go eggs aren’t always fantastic, though. The eggs that require a higher amount of effort (like 10km and 12km eggs) should, in theory, lead to some great hatches. But, as one unlucky Pokemon Go player in r/pokemongo found out recently, this is not always the case.

Pokemon Go players discuss “disgustingly bad” egg results

Originally appearing in this post, Pokemon Go player darthsnick took to social media to share their disappointment with a batch of eggs. They hatched 12 lots of 12km eggs and the results were less than desirable, with darthsnick sharing that they were “pretty disappointed” in the caption.

Out of all the eggs, darthsnick revealed that they ended up with 3 Panchams, 3 Sandiles, 3 Pawniards, 2 Vullabies, and a male Salandit. All in all, there wasn’t a lot to get excited over here.

The other Pokemon Go players in the thread were disappointed for darthsnick, with plenty sharing their own experiences. One called 12km eggs “disgustingly bad”, before elaborating that “all eggs are trash except for maybe 10km eggs” and suggesting Niantic does an overhaul.

Others shared darthsnick’s pain, with one equally unlucky player noting that they “just ran a full set of 10k eggs today and they all went into the trash.”

One optimistic player shared their thoughts, saying “I still do this for the dust. with a starpiece it’s between ~70k-90k” showing how batches of eggs can still serve other functions.

Another agreed that they weren’t fond of the 12k egg pool but that they’d had good luck with hundos and Shinies over the years.
