Pokemon TCG Stellar Miracle: Release date, new cards, more

The next Japanese Pokemon TCG set has been officially revealed, and it’ll be hitting the community just after the Night Wanderer special release.

Titled Stellar Miracle, this new set will be based around the Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk DLC, and it’ll be introducing powerful new cards, ACE SPEC gems, and a brand new Tera-type which has the potential to disrupt the current competitive meta.

Pokemon TCG Stellar Miracle release date

Pokemon TCG Stellar Miracle will release on July 19, 2024, as announced during the Japan 2024 Champions League Yokohama live stream.

This means that Stellar Miracle will be the follow-up set for Night Wanderer and that it’ll be coming out directly before Shrouded Fable, too. The release schedule for Pokemon in 2024 has been busy so far, and it’s not showing any signs of slowing down yet.

Pokemon TCG Stellar Miracle cards and products

There will be at least 102 cards in the Stellar Miracle expansion set. Currently, the number of Secret Rare cards is unknown, but we’ll be sure to update with further information once it becomes available.

Stellar Tera-type Pokemon will be making their debut in this expansion set, with the only currently available example being the Terapagos ex card shown below.

They’re similar in function to Crystal Pokemon, which were popular during the e-Card Series of the Pokemon TCG. Both card types have multi-Energy Attacks, making them offensively viable and fun to build creative decks with.

Fans can also expect to see other popular Pokemon featured in this expansion set like Rotom Fan, Hoothoot, Noctowl, and Bouffalant.

Additionally, a brand new ACE SPEC card has been revealed for Stellar Miracle. The new ACE SPEC is called Glistening Crystal, according to PokeGuardian. It must be attached to a Tera Pokemon. When it is, Attacks from the Tera ‘mon cost 1 less Energy, covering all Energy types.

Trainers interested in buying Stellar Miracle will be able to purchase both regular Booster Packs and Booster Boxes when the set is released. Booster Boxes will come with 30 packs while Booster Packs include five cards each.

It’s important to reiterate that this is a Japanese release, so fans in other locations who want to get their hands on the sparkly new cards will need to find a reliable retailer to sort the import process for them.
