After getting to know Ross McHarg in the tenth season, the bosun is already getting replaced for Below Deck Season 11.

Season 11 of Below Deck is already starting off on a very interesting foot. For starters, Captain Lee Rosbach is not returning for the season.

Because the show’s leader isn’t coming back, there’s no telling which cast members will actually be a part of the eleventh season.

For Season 10, the bosun was Ross McHarg, who was less focused on his job and more focused on getting romantic with co-star Katie Glaser.

And now, because of a recent job post resurfacing online, fans are convinced he is getting replaced.

Is Below Deck Season 11 getting a new Bosun?

On October 23, a Below Deck fan shared a photo of a job ad they’d seen on Reddit.

“Experienced BOSUN needed for the Below Deck series on major cable network. Must be available for seven weeks in February and March of 2024,” the job post read.

It also mentioned that the hire needs at least one year of yachting experience to be considered for the position.

Because Season 8 of Below Deck was filmed in Antigua, it’s safe to assume that this is for the landmark series. People were quick to react to the job post and couldn’t help but crack a few jokes.

One fan wrote, “Ruan gonna apply with a new name and wearing a fake moustache.”

Another fan chimed in and wrote, “ONE season experience? Now I understand.”

Not only did the post expose the new bosun search, but it did reveal the potential filming dates for Season 11. If they’re true, then fans can expect the upcoming season to come by the end of 2024.
