Sophie from Love Island Australia

From some of the biggest movies to a girl group, Love Island Australia’s host Sophie Monk is an absolute icon.

While Love Island UK is arguably the most popular within the series, Love Island Australia is a close second.

It features the same premise as the others: a group of hopeful singles enter a romantic villa in search of finding the love of their life.

The only factors that make the series stand out from the rest are its reputation for having entertaining cast members and its amazing host.

Speaking of the host, here is who will be in charge of Season 5 and where you might recognize her from.

Who is Sophie Monk from Love Island Australia?

If you are a fan of pop music, then you probably know Sophie Monk. She is a member of the former 90s girl group Bardot, which had several chart-topping hits.

Aside from pop stardom, she also has a pretty impressive career as an actress. Her acting resume includes roles in the early 2000s iconic films Click and Date Movie.

Now, she is adding hosting to her legacy by entertaining Love Island Australia viewers since its premiere season back in 2018.

Sophie is the perfect fit for the show, given the fact that she’s appeared as a contestant on Masked Singer Australia & The Bachelorette Australia.

Her experience in reality TV is exactly what the dating show needs in a host.

“I’m just so empathetic towards them. I’ve done a lot of reality shows so I know exactly the position they’re in,” she said in an interview.

Love Island AU is set to return with Sophie Monk for a highly-anticipated Season 5 on October 30.
