The price of the Apple iPad Air has dropped to its historically low price once again as the shopping season kicks off, and you don’t want to miss it.

Shopping for a brand-new tablet doesn’t have to be needlessly complicated. While there are benefits to using high-end Android tablets, the easiest one to use, and the one I would recommend for most people would be Apple’s humble iPad.

But, then you’ll have to choose which iPad to actually purchase. There’s the mini, Air, Pro, and simply “iPad”. But, the one that I think might be the best bang for your buck would be the iPad Air, as it uses Apple’s advanced M1 silicon, and has plenty of power to rival even an iPad Pro, without the premium price tag. Discounted to under $500 at Amazon, it’s an absolute steal.

The iPad Air is perfect for not-quite-power users

If you find yourself using your iPad or tablet a lot, you will want to invest a little more into which device you choose. Obviously, the iPad Pro is the most feature-packed among them. But, if you can live without features such as Pro Motion and ThunderBolt 4 support, you will be better off picking up an iPad Air, which houses most of the same features, and a similar chip, just at a discounted price.

There’s very little to lose here, and you still get all of the power of using Apple’s powerful M1 chip. Despite being a couple of years old at this point, it’s still ahead of many of its Android competitors, and if you’re locked into Apple’s ecosystem anyway, then there’s very little to lose.
