Daredevil is set to return two major cast members of Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll, who played Foggy Nelson and Karen Page in the original Netflix show, to the Born Again Disney+ reboot.

Daredevil’s original Netflix show was cancelled all the way back in 2018, which left fans furious, with many expecting it to never return.

However, after years of fans rallying for its return, and a few cameo appearances from Charlie Cox as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Marvel officially revealed the hit series was being rebooted for a 2025 release.

Titled Daredevil: Born Again, the Disney+ reboot has faced various production issues and delays ever since, which has led to many changes, such as including all-new writers and directors.

Now, another huge shift looks to be on the cards, as it has been revealed that Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson will be returning to the show, despite them previously being scrapped.

Marvel’s Daredevil reboot sees fan-favorite original cast return

According to renowned industry insider Jeff Sneider, Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll are set to reprise their roles as Foggy Nelson and Karen Page from the original Netflix series.

The decision is alleged to be the result of a creative restructure for the upcoming Disney+ series, which has come following the impacts of production being paused due to the SAG-AFTRA actor’s strike.

Despite the acting strike, shaking things up, it has still come as a shock to fans, after it had been previously stated in 2023 that both Henson and Woll would not be a part of the Born Again cast.

It has not been fully explained how the two fan favorites will feature as part of the reboot, just that they will be rejoining the series to play their original characters. As well as this, it is expected that Daredevil: Born Again is set to be split into two halves of nine episodes when it is finally released.

The Hawkeye spinoff show Echo, which hit Disney+ and Hulu on January 9, has also teased that Daredevil’s story will have major impacts on the future of the MCU.
