From what we know about Season 7 so far, the Cooper family will be dealing with the fallout from the Texas tornado, revealing a potential character arc for Missy along the way.

Fans’ minds have already turned to what Episode 2 might hold, with the title of the Season 7 episode now revealed.

Young Sheldon Season 7 Episode 2 is officially titled ‘A Roulette Wheel and a Piano Playing Dog,’ according to social media posts.

There isn’t an official synopsis for the episode yet, so fans can only try and guess what might happen through the write-up for Episode 1. This reads “News of the tornado reaches Sheldon and Mary in Germany. Also, with the Cooper house in chaos, Missy steps up.”

Other fans have questioned the show’s zany titles – a trend that carries from the main show The Big Bang Theory.

“Sounds like silly boring eps about wacky crazy stuff. I want serious bummer episodes about Sheldon and Paige struggling unsuccessfully to be human. I sure as hell don’t know how,” one Reddit user posted on a thread about the new Young Sheldon Season 7 episode. “The episode titles are meant to be like that so people wanna see, it’s not gonna be like that. It’s gonna be entertaining,” argued another.

Other fans have been trying to predict what they’re likely to see in the new season, with plenty of ongoing plot points needing to be wrapped up.

“It all depends on how the writers want to end the series,” one fan argued. “They can more or less follow canon and kill George. They can end the series before he dies or try to refocus everything on Sheldon. While it has been shown that a show can kill off a major character, think Henry Blake in MASH, and still succeed as a comedy, I think we will see a mix of the latter two ideas.

“George will stay alive and the ending will set up the remaining characters for their trajectory into TBBT. Sheldon will go on to higher education, Georgie will start working in Mandy’s father’s tire shop and Missy will meander about eventually having kids. I will feel bad if this is Missy’s plot line. I think she is a great character and I would wish her to have a better life,” they continued.
