Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 251 spoilers
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 251 begins with Yuta revealing he copied Sukuna’s “Cleave” using his last finger, which the latter couldn’t acquire. Yuji and Yuta are desperate to defeat Sukuna since it’s their final chance to defeat the villain. Yuji spits blood on Sukuna’s face.
As the fight continues, Sukuna’s cursed energy output and his control over Megumi’s soul gradually weaken. Yuji also notices that Sukuna’s slashes are also weaker than before. Hence, he charges towards the King of Curses fearlessly. While Yuta cuts off Sukuna’s arm, Yuji makes the blood on Sukuna’s face explode.
In a brief flashback, Yuji reads Yuki’s notes, revealing that souls can be combined, but they can never be one. Therefore, Yuji knows he can save Megumi. Hana also says that Angel’s Cursed Technique is important for their plan. They must separate Sukuna’s and Megumi’s souls and weaken Sukuna’s hold on Megumi before hitting the villain with Jacob’s Ladder.
Yuta uses Angel’s Jacob Ladder, injuring Sukuna. On the other hand, Yuji urges Megumi to wake up while hitting Sukuna. However, he learns that his friend doesn’t have the will to live anymore. Yuji sees Megumi lifelessly, saying, “I don’t care anymore.”
Sukuna then finds an opportunity to brutally attack Yuji, Yuta, and Rika with his “world-cutting slash.” However, not all hope is lost as Maki enters the battlefield and impales Sukuna from behind using her Split Soul Katana. The scene is quite similar to the way Toji attacked Gojo in Gojo’s Past arc.
Hence, although Yuji and Yuta vs Sukuna ends in this chapter, the next one will feature Maki going against the villain. There’s still a chance that Yuji and Yuta might get back up since they’re only injured and could have cursed energy to use Reverse Curse Technique.
