Nobara Kugisaki is one of the main characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. She was part of the first-year trio before Mahito defeated her in the Shibuya Incident Arc. Her status remained unknown for years without creator Gege Akutami clarifying anything about her.
Fans were convinced she died after all this time and the subtle hints thrown along the way. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 265 further solidifies her status as “deceased” since Yuji remembers her alongside Gojo, Choso, and others who died.
However, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 spoilers confirm she’s alive. The manga doesn’t reveal what happened to her after she suffered a nasty blow from Mahito. However, in the upcoming chapter, she uses her Resonance on Sukuna’s final finger.
This helps Yuji get the upper hand in the fight as the fight draws near its end. She also greets Yuji as he smiles with tears in his eyes. Fans are having mixed emotions over her shocking return but most of them express their excitement.
