Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 is expected to be released on February 4. Chapter 247 was released on Friday, January 5, instead of Sunday. It was out after Shonen Jump’s Christmas holiday. After this, the publication takes another break for the New Year holiday.
It’s not just Jujutsu Kaisen – all the ongoing Weekly Shonen Jump series, such as One Piece, My Hero Academia, and more, followed the same schedule. WSJ is returning with its 8th issue on January 21, which will have Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 248. However, JJK will not be included in the 9th issue. Since there’s no break from the publication, the hiatus must be because of Gege Akuatmi’s schedule.
Apparently, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 is rumored to be one of the most shocking episodes. In an interview, the hosts arrived at Jujutsu Kaisen editor Junya Fukuda’s workplace when he was editing the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Fukuda said he was checking the drafts of Chapter 249.
The host said: “Oh! That’s why I’ve never seen this scene before.” Fukuda responded: “This is a shocking scene.” The host again said: “It’s an extraordinary scene. But I still can’t take my eyes off it.”
The computer screen was blurred in the broadcast, but it’s still sparking several theories among fans. Considering their reaction, it’s highly likely that Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 might even be more shocking than Gojo’s death.
