Jujutsu Kaisen shows Megumi’s return but in a tragic way

Ever since Sukuna took over Megumi’s body, the latter only appeared once and very briefly in Chapter 230. He’s simply lying down in a fetal position with lifeless eyes. After losing his only family, Tsumiki, Megumi falls into despair and is yet to recover from it.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 251 confirms his return as we see him after a long time and hear him talk. However, he’s more depressed than ever as he refuses Yuji’s helping hand. Yuji has been struggling and making plans to save Megumi all this time.

This time, the final clash against the King of Curses is the perfect opportunity to strike him down and save Megumi. Thanks to Yuji’s new ability, his attacks can damage Sukuna’s soul and weaken his hold on Megumi’s soul.
