What happened in the previous chapter?
Given that Tomura Shikaraki has become the strongest, Deku has tried everything against him but still, he is unable to give significant damage to the villain. The former gets a vision of Star and Stripe, due to which he starts questioning himself whether he really erased her or if she is still alive. Furthermore, the chapter also delves deeper and lets us know about Shigaraki’s weakness. The villain’s body has a black mass that holds all his emotions, whether rage, sadness, or hatred. During the conflict with Shigaraki, Star and Stripe noticed a crack inside him, which is also revealed to Kudo in Chapter 413.
Kudo makes a plan that can put an end to Shigaraki’s terror. He explains to Deku that even if the villain seems to be fine from the surface, there’s a crack inside of him that can become the reason for his downfall. He also adds that Deku must attack Shigaraki from the inside to get the upper hand in the fight. initially, Deku thinks that the plan might not work, but when Kudo assures him of the certainty, the hero gets ready for the move.
