My Hero Academia Chapter 421 release date & spoilers: We are here

Class 1-A My Hero Academia

The wait is finally over as My Hero Academia Chapter 421 spoilers are out after the break last week.

The last chapter of My Hero Academia gave readers a glimpse into what happened after Aizawa and Present Mic were sucked into a portal by Kurogiri midbattle. It focused on the emotional confrontation between friends and how that led to Aizawa being able to come back.

Aizawa’s return in My Hero Academia Chapter 420 changed the tide of the battle. With the help of Tsukauchi, he gathered those who could still fight to aid Deku against All For One. More importantly, he delivered Eri’s horn to Deku to heal his destroyed arms. This development was crucial as Deku is the ultimate weapon against AFO and Shigaraki.

Thanks to last week’s break, the hype for the upcoming chapter was very high. Judging by the spoilers, we can safely say that My Hero Academia Chapter 421 promises a grand fight to come in the future.

My Hero Academia Chapter 421 spoilers

All For One, Aizawa, Deku, Momo, Koda, Shoji, Kaminari, Mineta

The title of My Hero Academia Chapter 421 is “We are here”. The chapter picks up where the last chapter left off. Class 1-A along with the other Heroes who can still fight join the battle against AFO. The students of Class 1-A, everyone except Bakugo, Uraraka, Shoto, and Iida, state their reasons behind still fighting, before declaring to Deku, “We are here.”

AFO reveals he should’ve been destroyed alongside Shigaraki because he was a part of the latter. He didn’t because of the harrowing grief that consumed him when he felt Yoichi’s vestige shattering. The experience made him understand that tragedies make people stronger.

AFO activates several of his Quirks at once which transformed his arms into something horrific. Sero counters AFO’s logic. Just then Shoto and Endeavor enter the battlefield through the portal. A flashback reveals that U.A. robots secured Rei and Natsu asked Endeavor to go fight because staying with Rei would make her body temperature rise.

In My Hero Academia Chapter 421, Present Mic also join the fight and so do some other Pro Heroes like Thirteen, Hound Dog, and Gang Orca. Burnin, Kendo, and other Heroes try to stop the trajectory of AFO’s attack. When Deku tries to stand up to help them, he fails.

Aizawa reveals that Eri’s Rewind has not only healed Deku’s arms but has rewound his body in few minutes ago. But he still has all the damage he’s suffered throughout the war. Deku reveals that he no longer has One For All or any of the past users’ Quirks. All that’s left is some embers like All Might had in Kamino.

Aizawa gives Deku the All Might t-shirt the civilian gave him. As Deku wears the shirt, Aoyama offers him his hand, announcing that they need Deku and Deku needs them. Characters like Eri and Kota are also wholeheartedly cheering for Deku. Motivated by everyone’s support, Deku stands again, ready to fight.

While Chapter 421 will be released this Sunday, My Hero Academia Season 7 will premiere soon in May. It is expected to be one of the best from the Spring 2024 anime lineup. Before the new season is out, learn more about the series with our take on Best Jeanist and Dabi’s true identity.
