The One Piece manga is currently at the peak of its Final Saga as the Egghead arc draws near its end. The previous chapter features Caribou requesting Catarina Devon and Van Agur to meet Blackbeard. He promises to give him a valuable piece of information, and no doubt, it’s about the ancient weapons.
Additionally, the chapter ends on a shocking note as Vegapunk broadcasts a pre-recorded message to the entire world. He promises to share the truth of the world. This may very well be a major turning point in the story.
The upcoming chapter will again focus on the situation in Egghead as things get more dire. Warning: This article contains major spoilers from One Piece Chapter 1109!
Dangerous enemies appear in One Piece Chapter 1109
Just when it seems that the Egghead Arc is nearing its end, Eiichiro Oda drops another bomb to keep the story going. As if Kizaru’s arrival isn’t bad enough, one of the five elders, Saturn, appears on Egghead using a strange summoning circle. He has mysterious powers that don’t even seem human.
In the upcoming chapter, Luffy continues to fight Kizaru and Saturn. Using his new attack, he crushes Kizaru and Saturn like pancakes before throwing them away. This is again a Tom & Jerry reference and a hilarious one at that. However, Luffy is extremely annoyed as he notices Saturn is still uninjured.
That’s considering the fact that the old man is taking serious hits when Luffy is in his Gear 5 form. What’s even worse is that as the chapter ends, the other four elders also come to Egghead using the same summoning circle.
We’ve already seen a glimpse of Gorosei’s powers in the Reverie flashback. They appear to have the same demonic forms. If they all have the same regenerative abilities as Saturn, no doubt Straw Hats will be in major trouble. They were supposed to escape to Elbaf before Kizaru and Saturn appeared. However, Vegapunk’s message has forced all of them to take action as they cannot afford for the world to know about their dirty secrets.
All the elders are convinced that Vegapunk is dead, which triggered the worldwide broadcast. It’s a pre-recorded message that Vegapunk must’ve prepared in case things go wrong for him. Furthermore, while the message asks the people listening to prepare their visual den den mushi, Dragon remembers Shaka telling him he was about to die.
