One Piece Chapter 1107 reveals the goal of Blackbeard Pirates
One Piece Chapter 1107 mostly focuses on Luffy and his crew. Luffy becomes enraged at seeing his friend, Vegapunk, severely wounded. He throws several punches at Saturn, throwing him toward buildings over and over again. As the chapter ends, Saturn gets back on his feet and sees Catarina Devon and Van Agur, two of the Ten Titanic Captains of the Blackbeard Pirates.
Catarina makes fun of Saturn, saying she never knew that one of the five elders would descend to Earth. Saturn says he never thought Catarina, a vicious criminal from Level 6 of Impel Down, would be the one who would submit to others, but the latter responds by saying Teach is special.
The elder adds that Teach’s bloodline is special as well and asks about their goal. Van Agur only responds by saying, “The world.” Although Catarina’s response is somewhat vague, it’s most likely that Blackbeard is aiming for world domination or something like that.
The chapter also reveals that he belongs to a special bloodline, which could solve the mystery of his being able to use two devil fruit powers and his ability to function properly without sleeping all these years. Blackbeard has been working toward his goal since childhood.
From earning sympathy to join the Whitebeard Pirates to capturing Ace and becoming a Warlord and then a Yonko, everything has been going his way. Although it’s still possible that he may not be the final villain (since the odds are in Imu’s favor), he is clearly one of the most dangerous opponents Luffy will have to face.
