One Piece: Who are Dorry and Brogy?

The One Piece manga will soon reveal something major about Dorry and Brogy, but who exactly are they?

One Piece is a long-running series with countless characters to keep track of. Both the anime and manga are featuring the Egghead Island arc of the Final Saga. The arc not only follows Luffy’s arrival on Egghead but also includes the Reverie flashback and major fights going on in the New World.

Who are Dorry and Brogy in One Piece?

Dorry and Brogy are giants from Elbaf island who were introduced in the Little Garden arc of One Piece’s Arabasta Saga. It is the second saga of the series. About 102 years ago, they both led the Giant Warrior Pirates but disbanded after they got into an argument.

The duo began fighting in Little Garden. However, since they were equally matched, they fought for 100 years without any victor. About two years ago, the Straw Hats arrived on the strange island and met giants for the first time. They also learned that giants have a much longer life span than humans.

Despite fighting for so long, they still had mutual respect for one another. However, due to Baroque Works’ interference, Brogy won the fight. Dorry accepted his loss with pride and returned to being friends with Brogy after putting their differences aside.

Luffy and Usopp were fascinated by the giants’ pride in being warriors and respected the duo. They even promised to meet someday on Elbaf. The giants then disappeared from the series, only appearing briefly once in a few years.

However, in the Egghead arc, they were partying with Shanks and his crew. They even attacked Eustass Kid’s ship after he came to Elbaf and challenged the Yonko. Now, according to One Piece Chapter 1106 spoilers, Dorry and Brogy arrive on Egghead and destroy a Marine ship.

The Marines identify them easily but are shocked to see them alive. The duo arrives for Straw Hat Luffy, or rather, the Sun God Nika. They’re aware of Luffy’s new powers, and it seems they want something from him. After all, the giants have believed in Nika for centuries and have been awaiting his return.
