Solo Leveling Episode 5 spoilers
Solo Leveling Episode 5 is titled: “A Pretty Good Deal.”
According to the official website of Solo Leveling anime, the official synopsis of Episode 5 reads, “Sung Jin-Woo joins the attack team led by Hwang Dongsuk to match the numbers to conquer the C-class dungeon. The party, including fellow member Yoo Jinho, defeats the monsters in a safe battle. Jin-Woo is suspicious of a party without a healer, but as he continues deeper into the dungeon, he comes across a cave surrounded by mana ores where the dungeon boss sleeps.”
Jin-Woo returns to vigorous training after the incident. His sister, Jin-Ah notices that he’s more buff and taller than before. However, Jin-Woo knows that he couldn’t have changed so much with just a few days of workouts, so it’s thanks to the system for increasing his stats.
He also joins Hwang Dongsuk’s party as an E-rank hunter and meets Yoo Jinho, a D-rank. Jin-woo learns that Jinho comes from a wealthy family and only wants to become a hunter as a hobby. They enter a C-rank gate, but the real enemies aren’t only the monsters but also his teammates.
Except for Jinho and Jin-Woo, the entire party is “Lizards,” a term used for those hunters who kill their weaker team members just to have a bigger share of the loot. The term originates from a lizard’s tendency to cut off its own tail and run off.
