Tokyo Revengers Season 3 release date finally announced

The time-travel anime series Tokyo Revengers is coming back with Season 3, and we are delighted to share the release date of the anticipated episodes.

Tokyo Revengers follows a 26-year-old unemployed Takemichi Hanagaki, who learns about his ex-girlfriend and her brother’s death at the hands of the Tokyo Manji Gang. After that, he unknowingly gets teleported back in time, and when he realizes about the time-travel thing, he vows to change the future.

The first season of Tokyo Revenger was released in 2021, followed by the second season in early 2023. Seeing the time gap between the two seasons, fans believed that the third season would be released sometime in 2024.

However, the release date for the new season was announced recently, and it seems fans do not have to wait this long to meet their favorite Tokyo Revengers characters.

Tokyo Revengers Season 3 release date

Tokyo Revengers Season 3 will start streaming on Disney Plus on October 3, 2023. Like the previous seasons, we will get the weekly releases for the series.

We have already received a short trailer for the third season that has given us a glimpse of the main characters as well as the bad guys. For the time being, the Japanese version (without subs) of the trailer has been released, and we may expect to get the subbed version a few days ahead of its official premiere.

Season 1 adapted the first three arcs from the manga in 24 episodes, while the second installment covered Black Dragon Arc and a little bit of Kenjaku Arc in 13 episodes. Hence, the upcoming season will continue with the events from Kenjaku Arc. The total number of episodes is yet to be revealed, but seeing the pattern, we can expect it to come with an episode count similar to season 2.

Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers was full of battles, and the new season promises to come with even more bloodshed. Kenjaku Arc will be available to stream on all the platforms owned by Disney, and fans in the US will get to watch the season exclusively on Hulu from the aforementioned date.
