However, Spring 2024 is going to be an incredible season for fans, with an entire lineup of highly-anticipated sequels and new additions to the anime world.
While Demon Slayer has piqued fans’ interest, there’s a lot more you need to look forward to. So, here’s a list of the 15 best upcoming anime in Spring 2024.
15. Wind Breaker
Based on the popular manga by Satoru Nii, Winter Breaker will make its anime debut in Spring 2024. The series will release in April but has yet to get an exact release date. It centers around Haruka Sakura, who avoids weaklings and is only interested in the strong.
He joins Furin High School, which is infamous for having degenerates known for their brawling strength. They use their strength to protect their town. However, Haruka doesn’t want to be a hero and only wants to fight his way to the top.

Bartender: Glass of God follows Ryuu Sasakura, a prodigy bartender who works in a lone bar named Eden Hall, hidden in the backstreets of the Ginza district. He is rumored to mix the most amazing cocktails anyone has ever tasted.
However, getting to Eden Hall is nearly impossible. One cannot find it; instead, it must find you. It finds customers with varying backgrounds, each with their own set of troubles. Nonetheless, Ryuu knows the ideal cocktail to guide each distraught person.
13. Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf
The Spice and the Wolf anime is getting a reboot in Spring 2024. Based on Isuna Hasekura’s Spice & Wolf, the new anime will tell the story of Kraft Lawrence and his meeting with the wolf-diety Holo. Lawrence, a traveling merchant, finds Holo sleeping in his cart.
She bargains with the merchant to take her along on his travels in exchange for sharing her wisdom of “Holo the Wisewolf” and increasing his profits. Thus, Lawrence’s life turns upside down after taking along an ancient wolf.
12. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is one of the big anime and manga franchises returning for a brand new season in Spring 2024. The story begins with Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old corporate worker, getting stabbed by a passing robber. At death’s door, he hears a strange AI voice reciting commands.
Suddenly, he wakes up in a strange cave and realizes he’s become a slime. He meets a giant dragon named Veldora, who has been sealed away for 300 years. Satoru soon befriends the ancient dragon and sets him free. After that, he gets a new name, “Rimuru Tempest,” and sets out on a grand quest.
11. Sound! Euphonium 3
Scheduled for Spring 2024, this upcoming anime series is based on a light novel by Takeda Ayano. The story centers around Oumane Kumiko, who abandoned music after a bad experience during the National Music Band Competition.
However, after starting high school and meeting new people, she pulls towards music again. Season 3 will adapt Kumiko’s third year in high school, where her band will again focus on winning the national championship.
10. Kaiju No. 8
Based on Naoya Matsumoto’s shonen manga, Kaiju No. 8’s anime adaptation will debut in Spring 2024. The story follows Kafka Hibino, who works at a professional cleaning company specializing in the battle aftermath of grotesque monsters called Kaiju.
He always wanted to kill those Kaijus but wasn’t qualified to do so. Although living an ordinary life, Kafka soon finds himself in the middle of the action when a mysterious insect invades his body and turns him into a hybrid monster. With his newfound powers, Kafka might turn his lifelong dream into reality.
9. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 was one of the most popular anime series of Summer 2023, and a second part was announced soon after its finale. The story follows a jobless and hopeless man who reincarnates in a fantasy world while keeping the memories of his past life.
Living under the name Rudeus Greyrat, he is determined to live without regrets. Season 2 follows his story as he is now a grown teenager. The upcoming episodes will adapt the 10th volume of the light novel series, which primarily focuses on the Newlyweds Arc.
8. A Condition Called Love
A Condition Called Love is making its anime debut in Spring 2024. The story follows Hotaru Hinase, a first-year high school student. She witnesses a messy breakup of the honor student Hananoi and encounters him sitting alone in the snow.
She extends her umbrella out of kindness. However, the next day, he appears in Hotaru’s classroom and asks her to be his girlfriend. After facing rejection, Hananoi sticks to her side and performs selfless acts to please her. Ultimately, Hotaru’s determination begins to waver as she learns more about him.
7. KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3
Konosuba is returning for a third season this Spring. The story follows Kazuma Satou, reincarnated after “saving” a young girl’s life. However, instead of the typical Isekai power fantasy, Kazuma becomes a relatively average adventurer with few redeeming qualities.
He uses his decent smarts and luck to progress toward his true goal: to take down the Demon King. Fans will see Kazuma’s party taking on all sorts of wild shenanigans once again.
6. Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture
Code Geass, a classic mech series, will release the movie in Japanese theatres in May 2024. This new project will have four movies, following siblings Rozé and Ashe. The trailer features how far animation technology has come in recent years.
The animation is far more fluid and vivid than the original anime. The movie will feature the usual Code Geass gore since the trailer is as bloody as it gets. Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture is an original story.
5. Trapezium
Produced by Aniplex, this upcoming movie is the work of the famous animation studio CloverWorks. It depicts the ten years of Yuu Azuma, a high school girl who aspires to be an idol. To achieve her dream, she sets four rules she must follow.
She will not use social media, have a boyfriend, stand out in school, or make friends with beautiful girls from the north, south, east, and west. This anime movie will be released on May 10, 2024
4. Black Butler: Public School Edition
Black Butler anime is returning with new episodes this spring. The season will cover the Public School arc from the manga. It takes place in Weston College, the most prestigious public school in Great Britain, which does not tolerate government interference.
However, several students refuse to come home and cease all communication with their families. This includes Derrick Arden, the son of Queen Victoria’s cousin. Now it’s up to Ciel and demon butler Sebastian to uncover the secret behind these strange incidents.
3. Blue Lock: Episode Nagi
Blue Lock is one of the most popular Shonen series ever. Blue Lock: Episode Nagi is an upcoming anime movie that is all set to hit the Japanese theatres on April 19, 2024. The movie is based on the spin-off series following Seishirou Nagi and Reo Mikage exploring their games during the Blue Lock dispute.
The teaser depicts Nagi’s transformation from a lazy high school student to a promising football prodigy, ultimately leading to him enrolling in Ego’s Blue Lock program, a facility created to produce the best striker in the world.

1. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc
Demon Slayer’s fourth season will debut in April 2024. It will adapt the Hashira Training Arc, which is the last part of the story before the Final Arc begins. Since the arc is only a few chapters long, the season will adapt scenes from the light novel as well.
Season 4 will be the final season of Demon Slayer, after which the franchise will release trilogy movies for the Final Arc. The Hashira Training arc will follow Tanjiro and the others as they undergo hellish training to become stronger before the final battle with Muzan and the Upper Moons begins.
