Apex Legends player shows just how easy it is to team in solos

The introduction of a solos playlist in Apex Legends has been well received by the community but some players have shown how easy it is to abuse the system and team.

When Apex Legends first launched back in February, it only came with a 3-person squads option but fast forward to August and players now have a proper way to play solo.

For the most part, everyone is behaving but some players are finding ways to team, which led to Respawn adding an option to report them.

Caustic actually has good uses in solos.

Reddit user That_one_toxic_guy, living up to his name, posted a screenshot of four players on top of a chest in the solos mode.

However, he revealed in the replies that those were four of his friends and he was with them, making a whopping five players of the lobby all on the same team.

It’s important to note we don’t condone teaming and it is a bannable offense in Apex Legends.

“Welp we joined into an Xbox party and joined at the same server,” the user wrote in a comment which has since received 36 downvotes at the time of writing.

Of course, players doing this in battle royale titles is nothing new as we’ve seen it in Fortnite and PUBG before it.

Solos has a bit of a teaming problem.

The reporting option, while being in the game, is only effective on PC as the reports go directly to Respawn.

On PS4 and Xbox One, a report will have to go through Sony and Microsoft respectively and there’s no telling how long it takes for action to be taken that way.

An alternative would be recording the gameplay yourself and sending it to Respawn, but not everyone has the tools to do that easily.

Fortunately, teaming isn’t extremely widespread so it’s not something you should go into every match suspecting.
