How to get Caustic Twitch Prime skin in Apex Legends for free
Respawn EntertainmentThe first Twitch Prime skin of Apex Legends Season 3: Meltdown has been unveiled and it’s called Chemical Compound Caustic, available now for free.
Apex Legends developers Respawn Entertainment and publishers EA have continued their ongoing partnership with Twitch Prime to bring players yet another free cosmetic item to enjoy in-game.
For the month of October, those with an active Twitch Prime subscription can claim a free skin called the Chemical Compound Caustic.
The skin employs a green and yellow color scheme and has Caustic’s own face imprinted on it several times, along with little images standard things related to chemistry, such as test tubes, beakers, and flasks.
This item is available starting on October 10, with the promotion lasting until October 24. Here is a short video showcasing the skin in-game:

How to claim Chemical Compound Caustic skin for free
You can claim this skin for free and add it to your inventory by simply completing the following steps.
- Visit the Apex Legends page on the Twitch Prime website
- Login with your Twitch credentials (make sure that your account has an active Prime subscription)
- Click the CLAIM button above the October loot, which is the Chemical Compound Caustic skin
- Once prompted, link your PSN/XBL/Origin account to your Twitch, depending on which platform you use to play Apex Legends
- Once your accounts have been successfully linked, your item will be claimed and you can access it by starting up your game and checking your inventory.
How to get Twitch Prime for free?
Of course, you can only complete the steps above and redeem the skin if you have Twitch Prime, which comes as part of a subscription to Amazon Prime.
If you don’t, fear not, because you can still get the item by signing up to a free trial of Prime, which you can do so by visiting the Apex Legends page on the website and clicking the ‘Start your free trial’ button towards the bottom of the screen.
Once you have successfully signed up for your free trial, you can then complete the steps from the previous section in order to claim the Caustic skin.
Keep in mind, however, that if you do not cancel your subscription prior to the end of its monthly cycle, you may be charged $12.99 for the next month.
