ScHoolboy Q explains why Apex Legends is better than Fortnite

Eli Becht

Rapper ScHoolboy Q gave his opinion on what was better between Fortnite and Apex Legends on an episode of Hot Ones.

With Season 2 of Apex Legends coming up, many eyes are focused on how it will be able to compete with Fortnite. Respawn promises a much improved Battle Pass and based on what we’ve seen so far from the season, Fortnite does appear to have Apex as a competitor again.

ScHoolboy Q weighed in on what he thinks is better while enjoying some delicious flaming hot chicken wings.

Fortnite vs. Apex begins again. Epic Games might not be able to relax in the sun and dominate anymore.

Fortnite or Apex?

You might get a vastly different answer on what’s better between the two depending on who you ask, but ScHoolboy Q thinks the answer is clear.

“Fortnite was dope when it first came out,” he said. “I was fuckin with it. I was going in. But then they started making it weak, kid-friendly ya know what I mean? Once a game gets so big they have no choice but to cater to the weaker side of it.”

Fortnite is king currently but will it remain that way?

He didn’t stop there as the SoCal rapper also said Apex is killing Fortnite right now, which is definitely up for debate.

“As of right now, Apex is shittin’ on Fortnite,” he said. “But Apex is growing rapidly, crazy, crazy. It’s gonna be just as big as Fortnite and they are gonna cater to a bunch of weak ass, lil ass, punk ass kids. Then I’m gonna be right back to ol’ faithful Call of Duty.”

Apex Legends Season 2 begins on July 2 and with it comes a brand-new Battle Pass, new challenges, a new Legend in Wattson, and much more.

Fortnite always brings a plethora of new content with its seasons too and usually does something to shake up the meta.

It will be interesting to see how the two compare with both dishing out new content in the very near future.
