Some players in Baldur’s Gate 3 are begging Larian Studios to add a fan-favorite race from The Elder Scrolls series, especially Skyrim, to the game.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is steadily closing onto a year of its release and has managed to be unfathomably popular. However, with each passing day, players are discovering new gameplay elements across all the Acts, and now some want Larian to add a key race from another popular game series.

It’s none other than The Elder Scrolls, especially Skyrim, where Argonians are a race of reptiles that dwell in Black Marsh. A Baldur’s Gate 3 player was ecstatic after coming across a lizard in the third Act after a lonely solitary endeavor through the previous Acts.

Taking on Reddit, a Baldur’s Gate 3 player shared a meme where they created a character of the Dragonborn race and were relieved after meeting another lizard friend in Act 3.

Calling it an Argonian, several Skyrim lovers joined in and a bunch of the community members now want Larian to add the race to Baldur’s Gate 3.

The player who posted wanted more Dragonborns in Baldur’s Gate 3 and said, “Larian plz add more lizards to the game” and several others expressed a similar desire, “Kobolds are in the game as NPCs, PLEASE Larian just let us be a ‘lil lizard.”

A player mentioned how “canonically rare” the Dragonborn race is in general and explained that, “A small population of them were transported to Toril from Abeir during the Spellplague ~ 50 years ago, and the majority of that population are still on the continent they came with, across the sea from Baldur’s Gate.”

It’s no surprise Baldur’s Gate 3’s lore is filled with countless secrets, considering how detailed and massive the game is. One player mentions there is a “secret Dragonborn if you knock out or have already had an interaction with our favorite bard with a durge.” A player adds that this is “weirdly the only NPC that actually tells you some Dragonborn lore in the entire game.”

Some players agree that the lesser occurrence of Dragonborns is “just a lore accurate lizardfolk” and actually just “prefer urban life” instead.
