Jake Paul blasts Sean Strickland as he exposes DMs for $1m fight offer
Instagram/JakePaul/SeanStricklandJake Paul has exposed some of the messages between himself and Sean Strickland after the YouTuber-turned-boxer offered the former UFC champion $1 million for a sparring session that was shut down by the MMA organization.
Since stepping into the world of combat sports, Jake Paul has engaged in a war of words with plenty of different fighters. Most recently, his main target has been Sean Strickland.
Jake and the former UFC Middleweight champion have gone back and forth on social media, especially after Strickland bloodied streamer Sneako in their sparring session. That prompted the YouTuber-turned-boxer to offer the Middleweight a fight against him, even offering $1 million to make it happen.
Strickland was down to make the fight happen, but claimed the UFC shut it down – a claim that has been disputed by Jake and Tyrone Woodley. So, Jake has gone all out and exposed the messages between himself and Strickland about the proposed clash.
Jake Paul reveals DMs with Sean Strickland over $1m fight
“It’s a typical story of these UFC guys who call me out and then go quiet,” the YouTuber-turned-boxer said on episode 40 of the BS with Jake Paul podcast before showing messages between himself and Strickland.
In those messages, Jake offered to send him a private jet to join him in Puerto Rico for either a “spar or fight” and Strickland seemed happy with that. “Man, that is a big f**king paycheck, let me see what I can do,” the former UFC champion responded.
Jake also questioned how Strickland was able to spar with Sneako but changed tack when offered a flight to fight him was put on the table.

That wasn’t all, however, as Jake also threw some digs at Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett for similarly ignoring his offer of a fight or sparring session.
“Maybe Paddy Pimblett can finally stop running from my spar offer too and I’ll just get all of them – a two-for-one,” the ‘Problem Child’ added.
It’s pretty unlikely that he’ll get to face off against either of them anytime soon, if ever, but Jake is still angling for something to happen.
