The XRK Stalker is one of the strongest weapons so it’s only natural you’d want to use it. Here is the best XRK Stalker loadout for MW3 to get the most out of the meta sniper rifle.

When it was introduced in Season 1, the XRK Stalker quickly became everyone’s favorite sniper. It wasn’t as well received in Warzone due to its previous inability to one shot down, but it has always been a great option in multiplayer.

The XRK Stalker is a powerful weapon that offers both fantastic handling and a reliable one-shot kill. This makes it a top-tier primary that can dominate on every MW3 map as long as you hit your shots.

This sniper is strong regardless of how you build it, but an optimized Wclass makes it even better. With that said, here’s the best XRK Stalker loadout to use in MW3 Season 3.

Attachments

  • Barrel: Handler LKP Short Barrel
  • Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light
  • Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Bolt: XRK Stalker Light Bolt

When building an XRK Stalker, the number one priority is to make its handling as fast as possible to keep up with the fast-paced action of 6v6. The most impactful attachment for this is the SL Razorhawk Laser, which is a better version of the FSS OLE-V Laser that used to be meta.

The XRK Stalker’s ADS Speed can be improved much more than that though by also using the No Stock and Handler LKP Short Barrel. No Stock is a particularly strong attachment that was added to the XRK Stalker in Season 1 Reloaded, making the sniper more mobile than ever.

Similarly, the Forge Tac Delta 4 also boosts ADS Speed, but the real reason to use this optic over the default scope is that its lower zoom is better suited to multiplayer. This attachment is far easier to use up close which is where a lot of gunfights in MW3 take place.

Last but certainly not least is the XRK Stalker Light Bolt which boosts fire rate. A faster fire rate makes the XRK Stalker more forgiving when you either miss your opening shot or only manage a hitmaker. Without this meta attachment, you will rarely get off a second shot before being gunned down making it an essential pick.

Even now in MW3 Season 3, the XRK Stalker remains one of the best guns in the game.

Best XRK Stalker class: Perks & equipment

  • Vest: Overkill Vest
    • Allows the use of a second primary weapon, reloading while sprinting, and increases weapon swap speed.
  • Gloves: Marksman Gloves
    • Reduced sway and flinch while ADS.
  • Boots: Climbing Boots
    • Increased climbing and mantling speed. Reduces fall damage.
  • Gear: Threat Identification System
    • While ADS, automatically pings enemy locations in crosshairs.
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
    • Retrievable throwing knife that is lethal on impact in Core MP.
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade
    • Slow’s victim’s movement and aiming.

Perks like Marksman Gloves and Climbing Boots are great on snipers like the XRK Stalker. The former makes landing shots easier while the latter lets you take high ground faster and control key areas of the map. Once in position, Threat Identification System will automatically ping enemies you aim at providing teammates with crucial intel.

You won’t always be able to snipe freely though as enemies will try to flank you sooner or later. When this time comes, take advantage of Overkill Vest and switch to another primary better suited to close range like the WSP Swarm or RAM-9.

As for equipment, a Throwing Knife plays into the quickscoping fantasy letting you try and land montage-worthy clips. Meanwhile, a Stun Grenade isn’t as flashy but being able to immobilize enemies and swoop in for easy kills is never a bad thing.

How to unlock XRK Stalker in Modern Warfare 3

Best XRK Stalker alternative in Modern Warfare 3
