Black Ops 4: New Winter content event has gone live, features Holiday themed variants and items

Treyarch have added a brand new content stream in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 called ‘Winter,’ which features a variety of Holiday themed weapon variants and cosmetic items.

The Winter event stream went live in-game on December 13 and will be available in-game for only 13 days, which means that it will go offline December 26, the day after Christmas.

The stream can be found under the Contraband tab of the Black Market, the same section where Operation Absolute Zero and the Valkyrae set are also currently located.

As per Sony’s exclusivity agreement with Activision, Winter will first be available on the PlayStation 4 for seven days before going live on the Xbox One and PC platforms,

There are a total of 35 Tiers featured in this content stream, and unlike Operation Absolute Zero, new items are only available in select Tiers and not each one.

Here are all of the items that are available at select Tiers through the total 35:

  • Tier 16: Ready Up Sticker
  • Tier 18: Snow Day Gesture
  • Tier 20: Candy Cane Warpaint
  • Tier 22: Missle Tow Gesture
  • Tier 24: Nutcracker Warpaint
  • Tier 26: Lampy Gesture
  • Tier 28: Frost Warpaint
  • Tier 31: Snow Joy Gesture
  • Tier 33: Grump Sticker
  • Tier 35: Reindeer Warpaint

In addition to the content stream itself, a brand new Triple Play option has also been added to the Black Market, which features the Great Lion Mastercraft weapon variant, Slay Bell melee weapon, and a ten tiers boost.

The Triple Play is available for purchase at a price of 2,000 CoD Points, which is roughly under a $20 value.

This is not the only Winter and Holiday themed content that Treyarch have dropped in Black Ops 4; the new Secret Santa melee weapon is now available in both the Multiplayer and Blackout modes, and snow and snowballs have also been added to the Blackout map.
