Black Ops 4 teasers spotted in Blackout for new locations and upcoming Operation

It appears the developers Treyarch have begun teasing the next Operation content stream in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

The next Operation in Black Ops 4 is slated to go live February 19 on PlayStation 4 and February 26 on the Xbox One and PC, and is expected to introduce a slew of new content and changes to the game’s three core modes – Multiplayer, Blackout, and Zombies.

Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar has already confirmed that one of the main changes to Blackout will be the addition of at least one new major location on the map.

Although no other information has yet been disclosed, several new markers have appeared on the map, one of which seems to be the most likely point where the new location will be added.

The marker, which is located in the southeast section of the desert area of the map, is a metal door in the ground that looks as though it could be an entrance to some underground bunker or area.

Players have also spotted wooden stakes at various points on the map, which Reddit users were quick to point out resembled surveying stakes that contractors use to control the alignment and grade during construction.

What’s even more interesting is that Treyarch actually saw the Reddit post and commented a single word: “Interesting…”

Vonderhaar left the door open to the possibility of their being multiple new locations added, and these teasers could very well reveal the points on the map where these new locations will be constructed.

Unforunately, players will just have to wait until the next Operation drops, which is also set to include some major weapon balancing changes, League Play for Multiplayer, and more.
