Black Ops 4: Walkthrough of the two new maps in Multiplayer – Elevation and Madagascar
Two new maps have been released for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Multiplayer mode, and they’re called Elevation and Madagascar.
The two maps went live on December 11 as part of the first major content drop since the launch of Black Ops 4 on October 12, and are currently only available on PlayStation 4 for the first week.
The maps, as well as everything else in the content drop, as exclusively available to those who own the Black Ops pass, so those who want to try out these maps will have to purchase the Pass.
Elevation and Madagascar are the second and third maps to have been added to Multiplayer since Black Ops 4’s release, with Nuketown having been the first.

Below you can see a walkthrough of Elevation, which is a medium-sized map set in a cliffside town in the mountains of Nepal.

As shown in the video, the map features winding streets that snake around vertical positions where players will battle it out through close-quarter interiors and tight alleyways.
The authenticity factor is certainly there, as both the theme of the structures and area as well as the snowy weather both are very reminiscent of the country of Nepal.
Moving on to Madagascar, here is a video walkthrough of the map set on a rural plateu in the country of Madagascar, located off of the southeastern coast of Africa.
Madagascar is definitely the larger of the two maps, and it features a town that sits atop a hill where a medical-relief convoy has been ambushed and is surrounded by flanking routes with diverse, natural environments and powerful cover for players trying to dominate the hill.
In terms of aesthetics, both maps feature strong and bright color schemes and the attention to detail is definitely high. How these maps will play in Multiplayer remains to be seen as the majority of the player-base will be getting a good feel for them in the coming days.
The December 11 Black Ops Pass content drop in Black Ops 4 not only features the two maps shown above, but also a new ‘Dead of the Night’ Zombies experience as well as the addition of the Reaper Specialist from Black Ops 3 into the Blackout battle royale mode.
Those who do not have the Pass can purchase it as a standalone item from the in-game store. Players on Xbox One and PC will have to wait an additional week to get this content as per Sony’s exclusivity agreement with Activision.
