Dr Disrespect fans want his new Modern Warfare map added to the game

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare map designs for Blocktober and fans are thinking his creations might be better than the ones that are actually in the game.

For the most part, Modern Warfare’s launch has been pretty positive but there has been a bunch of player criticism around the map designs.

Even the pro players have expressed their displeasure, with Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper saying he’d rather Infinity Ward created more “fun maps” for this installment versus what made it into the game at launch.

Activision - Call of Duty: Modern WarfareModern Warfare’s maps have left a lot to be desired.

As many know, Dr Disrespect is a former level designer for Advanced Warfare and he flexed his creative muscles once again by designing several maps for Modern Warfare for fun, and now that players know what’s in the game, many are saying his creations might have been a better choice to include.

Of course, they are cheeky responses because we don’t know how the Two-Time’s maps would work in the game, but it is a damning indictment on the maps as they are.

His latest map is called Arcade and, to be fair, it does look pretty cool from the little we get to see of it.

Many of the replies to Doc’s tweet managed to both applaud him for his creations while also putting down the current maps.

“Better than literally every map in Modern Warfare now,” said one commenter.

“I’ve seen you post 2 of these so far and let me just say the thumbnails of these maps already look way better than any 2v2 map we have in the game,” said another comment. “Makes you think about who they have working in the studio.”

The Two-Time’s maps will more than likely not ever make an appearance in Modern Warfare, but it’s clear his talent for level design hasn’t gone away despite becoming a full-time streamer.

If Doc ever did decide to release a video game himself, we can definitely count on it having some good maps for players to explore.

The Call of Duty franchise can’t seem to find common middle ground among fans as some will argue for the traditional 3-lane maps while others want to leave that behind.

Players will be receiving additional maps in future updates so it’ll be interesting to see if Infinity Ward listens to any of this player criticism.

Modern Warfare is out now for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
