Fan-favorite LMG dominates in Warzone again with deadly TTK
ActivisionOne of Modern Warfare 3’s most popular LMGs is dominant in Warzone again, thanks to its “so consistent” TTK and being “so easy to use” at different ranges.
Pretty much every weapon type has had its day in the sun in Warzone, but LMGs have been especially dominant in the last few months – especially at the end of Modern Warfare 2 and in the recent weeks of Modern Warfare 3.
Some of Modern Warfare 2’s LMGs stack up well against their MW3 counterparts, especially as the heavy damage-dealing guns are deadly in mid to long-range fights. However, their visual clutter from barrel smoke and way makes them a less viable option than the newer guns.
So, when sorting through what are the best options in the LMG category, Warzone expert WhosImmortal puts one of the long-standing favorites right up there as the best – and that’s the Bruen MK9.
Best Bruen MK9 meta loadout in Warzone
That’s right, the Bruen – which returned in MW3 as an LMG – is WhosImmortal’s favorite LMG, and his pick to be the best one in the battle royale right now.
“It’s TTK, over all ranges, is just so consistent, it’s so easy to use, and it’s so aggressive for an LMG in general because we’ve got the 60-round mag here. This speeds it up, makes it feel more like an assault rifle, so you can take a lot more mid-range based fights and play a lot faster with this,” the YouTuber said.
Unsurprisingly, the loadout also utilizes the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor, Bruen Heavy Support underbarrel, and Corio Eagleseye 2.5x optic to further improve control. The Bruen isn’t a ‘no recoil’ gun but it isn’t far off either.
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Barrel: 23’ XRK Horizon V2
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Magazine: 60-round mag

Another plus for the Bruen is that its TTK doesn’t really change that much across different ranges. There is a small dropoff beyond 35 meters but it remains strong regardless of that.
As per WZRanked stats, the Bruen has been overlooked a bit in recent weeks, but interest in the LMG is slowly starting to tick back up. So, expect to see more of it soon.
