Fan-favorite Warzone AR is meta again after nerf thanks to one attachment
ActivisionA fan-favorite assault rifle from Modern Warfare 3 is proving to be meta again in Warzone despite its recent nerf, and it’s all thanks to one attachment change.
Even though the Modern Warfare 3 x Warzone update isn’t all that far into its lifecycle, there have been plenty of massive changes made to the battle royale already – especially in terms of the meta.
The Season 1 Reloaded update saw the meta put into its most diverse state yet. That mis-season update made changes to the M13B, MTZ 762, Striker 9, and pretty much every LMG too.
Cast your mind back to the start of Season 1, however, and a few other popular weapons were nerfed. The most popular of those was the Bas-B. The assault rifle had proven itself to be one of the go-to options in the early days of MW3 but fell away after the nerf.

However, the Bas-B looks to be on its way back. That’s according to Warzone expert Sally is a Dog, as he highlighted the powerful rifle in his January 31 video.
In that, Sally noted that the post-nerf Bas-B isn’t all that great, until you use the JAK BFB Muzzle. “They nerfed it, but bad news, it is now back and that is thanks to one specific attachment,” he said. “It turns the Bas-B into an absolute laserbeam.”
The JAK BFB Muzzle has already proven to be a bit of a crutch for some players thanks to the way it nerfs recoil on all guns. It can decrease gun kick by 60%, which is pretty powerful, even for a weapon that is easy to control.
- Muzzle: JAK BFB Muzzle
- Barrel: Bruen Venom long barrel
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy support
- Magazine: 45-round mag
- Stock: Ravage-20 Heavy stock
The only downside to using the muzzle is the fact that you will appear on enemy radars in a similar way to being spotted by an Advanced UAV, but the juice is worth the squeeze.
Obviously, if things gets out of hand, the devs may choose to make some changes and nerf the Bas-B again. Though, for now, you may as well have fun.
