FaZe Clan Clinch Final Division A Spot in CWL Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs as Evil Geniuses are Eliminated
Blizzard EntertainmentNorth American Call of Duty pro team FaZe Clan have officially qualified for the CWL Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
FaZe are the fourth and final team from Division A to clinch a spot, joining Red Reserve, Echo Fox, and Team Kaliber.
After a shockingly bad start to the Stage 2, FaZe came into the sixth and final week of Stage 2 knowing that they would need to win all four of their matches to even have a chance at the postseason.
Although they managed to win their first three matches, their Playoff lives ended up being decided before they played their fourth match, thanks to Team EnVy defeating Evil Geniuses and eliminating them from contention.
ALL OVER @EvilGeniuses.

Of course even if EG had not lost to EnVy, FaZe would have still had the chance to qualify with a win against Team Kaliber. FaZe owned the tiebreaker against EG thanks to a better head-to-head map count.
However, they must have felt relieved in completing their ultimate comeback within the Division A standings and getting the chance to defend their Stage 1 crown.
QUALIFIED FOR PLAYOFFS! #FaZeUp
