FaZe’s Call of Duty team turns into boy band during a CWL 2K tournament
The FaZe Clan Call of Duty team is one of the best teams in the world, and that’s great because a backup career as a boy band doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
While playing in a CoD 2K tournament, the group began singing “Time of my Life,” a ballad best known for being the song during the climactic scene in Dirty Dancing.
Simon Cowell would probably call that an ambitious song choice, but the FaZe clan really sent it.
In a normal game, the comms would be filled with positioning. These MLG 2K tournaments in the early rounds are a joke for pros, however.
At least these games deliver moments like this and let the dominant team have fun, even if they aren’t gaining much in terms of gameplay.
After the game finished, they joked about taking screenshots of the final score (250-6) and tweeting it out with the caption “y’all serious,” echoing the sentiments of other pro players who lament having to play against amateur teams during these 2Ks.

For comparison to the FaZe guys, here’s the moment that shot “Time of my Life” into the public spotlight as one of the more easily recognizable songs.
