With yet another iteration of CoD comes the annual CoD Next where the devs give players a look into the new game, and with Black Ops 6’s early access so close by, the hype is certainly building.

Although a lot of info has already been released, there is still a lot more that has yet to be revealed. This is where CoD Next comes in, so here is everything you need to know about the event.

When is CoD Next 2024? Date and start time

CoD Next 2024 will start on Wednesday, August 28, at 9 AM PT.

It’s unsure how long 2024’s CoD Next will run for, but previous iterations have lasted around four hours, so brace plan ahead if you want to watch the entire showcase.

How to watch the event

CoD Next 2024 will be streamed on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel and the official Twitch channel.

Generally, players will be able to get exclusive drops, but it has yet to be announced, so we will update you here when it does.

In addition to the official streams, fans can also tune in to their favorite CoD streamers, who will also be broadcasting the event.

What can we expect at CoD Next 2024?

At CoD Next 2024, the main attraction will undoubtedly be Black Ops 6 multiplayer’s full reveal. We’ve already gotten a glimpse, be it omnimovement, new maps, or returning weapons, but we’ll be getting the whole shebang.

Additionally, we’ll be given a first look into the new Zombies map, Liberty Falls. We’ve already been shown what Terminus, the other map coming in Black Ops 6, will entail, so this time we’ll be getting a better peek into what we’ll be doing in West Virginia.

Additionally, we’ll be getting a good look into Warzone’s future. We already know that the battle royale will continue to feature MW2 and MW3 content as BO6 releases, which includes the new omnimovement.

We may likely hear news of a map change, perhaps a potential return of Verdansk, although leaks have claimed we may not see it for a while after Black Ops 6 releases.

Additionally, we’ll be getting some updates to CoD and Warzone mobile, alongside gameplay of the new game.
