“Insane” one-shot sniper is Warzone’s best after Season 2 buff

Another one-shot sniper has finally been added to the mix in Season 2, and one Warzone expert believes it’s “insane” with a particular loadout.

Whether it’s the flashy no-scopes with the Intervention or a camper hiding with the hard-hitting Barrett 50 Cal, sniping has always been a massive part of Call of Duty. That has been the case in Warzone too – especially if you want to harken all the way back to Verdansk and the Kar98 era.

Things have changed over time, however, with snipers taking a little bit of a back seat to other weapons as the devs have toned down their ability to be so dominant. However, there have been changes the other way too.

With the release of Modern Warfare 3, the devs brought one-shot sniping back to Warzone, but annoyed players with the lack of options. However, now that the Season 2 update is here, we have more options.

One of which, according to Warzone guru Metaphor, is “insane” because of how well it balances speed and power. The sniper in question? Well, that would be the XRK Stalker.

“This thing is insane and, with this build, you can one-shot up to 75 meters. You don’t need explosive rounds or anything like that,” the YouTuber said. “This build is a pretty good balance of being pretty quick and having a long one-shot range.”

Different muzzles can tweak the sniper’s one-shot range, but going with the Sonic Suppressor XL pushes it all the way up to 75 meters. That’s about as deadly as you can get with it right now.

  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
  • Barrel: Fission 60 Barrel
  • Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal High Grain Rounds
  • Stock: No Stock

You will have to use Armory Unlocks to get the No Stock attachment for the sniper, but its worth it because of how much impact it has on the Stalker’s speed.

Of course, while players have been desperate for more sniping options, if it becomes too overpowered then the devs will likely make a change. For now, though, have fun with it.
