MW3 kit that “shouldn’t be in the game” has players preparing for a nerf
ActivisionThe MW3 community is predicting an incoming nerf for one of the game’s most powerful weapon kits.
Weapons have always been the name of the game in CoD, and MW3 is no different as players look to find the best weapons to use in the game.
Sometimes, there is a weapon in the game that is so powerful, however, that while it gives players a leg up in competition, it can ruin the experience for everyone else.
MW3 fans believe they have found a weapon kit that just does this, and because of how good it is, they are predicting a big nerf to be coming for it soon.
MW3 players think a nerf is coming for OP weapon
The discussion is continuing over on the MW3 subreddit in a post that sums up what everyone is feeling: “This kit should not exist in this game.”
The poster shares a clip of them using a weapon kit for the Haymaker, which essentially turns the gun into a fully automatic shotgun. In the clip, they easily rack up over 10 kills with it in a matter of minutes.
While many players in the comments recognize how good the gun is to use, they also see how it can easily overpower others and make their experience more frustrating.
“Enjoy it while you can as I’m sure it’ll be nerfed soon. Personally using this gun is the most fun I’ve had with MW3 since launch though. Love getting in a haymaker lobby and having the back-and-forth Shotgun duels. Although I’m surprised I don’t see more people running it.”
Many, however, don’t see an issue with the weapon kit, as they point out in the clip that the player is using the shotgun as intended:
“It’s a small map. It’s being played properly as a shotgun. The kit is just fine.”
Others don’t think that the gun would be that good in a regular match, suspecting bots to be the reason they are able to claim so many kills.
One MW3 user even suggests the poster is using a VPN to gain a better connection to the game’s servers.
The kit is clearly a divisive subject, and the community is never going to completely agree on its power being too much or too little.
It also remains to be seen if the devs are going to nerf it, or let it stay exactly where it is.
